Restored is a story of restoration and hope. Tanya has come through experiences that could have ended her, and she is honest that what carried her through was letting God love and heal her. She asks readers to be slow to judge, because there is always a reason people make the choices they make.
She describes the challenges in her childhood that made her question her identity, and she does not soften them. It is a personal look at her life, and at the lives of a lot of people who were never validated the way God intended. She digs up the pain she had hidden, confronts it, works through it, and turns it into something that helps somebody else.
Tanya is a comedian, author, writer, actor and mother living in Woodbridge, Virginia with her three children. She serves in the performing arts ministry at Victory Christian Ministries International as an actor, comedian, mime and spoken word artist.
Her second book, Behind the Mask, continues the story.
